About us

Welcome to the website of Akademicka Praktyka Medycyny Rodzinnej. We are a family medicine practice in Bialystok and we provide primary care to our patients irrespective of their age, gender or health staus. We can treat wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions, prescribe medications, refer you to diagnostic tests, to a specialist or to a hospital if necessary.

Eligibility

If you are entitled to healthcare on the basis of EU regulations on coordination of social security systems, then during your stay in Poland you are eligible to receive medical care from us free of charge. You will be asked to present your European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) on arrival.

Booking an appointment

You can book an appointment with one of our doctors in person, by telephone or online.

Opening hours

Our surgery is open from Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Out of hours service

After 6:00 p.m. on weekdays and on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, healthcare is provided by out of hours service

In the event of an accident, injury, poisoning or a life-threatening condition you should call the ambulance tel. 999 or 112 or go to directly to A&E.
